MAXIMINVS NOB CAES Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximinus II to left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and shield, decorated with two horsemen riding to left and four captives below them, on his left shoulder. Rev. MAXIMINVS NOBILI-SSIMVS CAESAR / ANT Maximinus II standing front, head to left, holding globe in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, lighted altar; in field to right, Δ. RIC -, cf. 120 (differing bust type). Very rare. Thick deposits and with light cleaning scratches, otherwise, good fine.
